To my mind the advertising campaign sponsored by the furrier Victor Koerper is
one of the milestones of haute fourrure photography, exceeded only by the
Grosvenor campaign. The Koerper campaign started probably at the beginning of
the 70's - I collected my first print back in 1973 - and ended 1983, so
the lifecycle was at least 11 seasons, maybe more. Koerper has always added
some stylish and elegant element to the design of his fur creations that made
them distinctive and always out of the ordinary. In addition, all photographies
were shot exclusively by the famous German photographer Regine Relang, and only
few photomodels were selected to model Koerper's furs, which helped to keep the
highly sophisticated style of the photos coherent over the years. Usually per
season only one or two models were casted. From 1975 to 1977 and 1983 the well known
German model Petra Muehlemann was casted, the results from these sessions being
presented in her Model Profile.
Here I have compiled examples featuring various other models.
