Focus on Furs - Wolf & Coyote
This focus does not deal exactly with one single type of fur, but rather with a group of fur types, namely wolf and coyote. I would like to call them wolf types for the purpose of this presentation, although this might not be absolutely correct from a biological point of view. Telling from the difficulties I had to find a sufficient number of pics, the wolf type furs are by far less popular than the various types of fox. Only few furriers seem to have used wolf types of fur on a regular basis, the most prominent being Grosvenor. I cannot completely understand this, since the pics I compiled clearly show that wolf is not necessarily limited to winter sports, but can also be combined with business and evening fashion. So I hope that with the renaissance of fur fashion the interest in wolf and coyote will increase.
